The best wines of the competition were awarded rankings from bronze to double gold, and the best of the best were assessed across 15 categories to find the best wines in each class and the bests in show overall. Each of wine was made with at least 75% cold hardy grape cultivars and represent a variety of winemaking techniques, styles, and regions of the United States. Many of the grapes used in these wines were harvested from disease resistant vines developed by programs that participate in the VitisGen3 project!
