Dr. Yu Jiang is an Assistant Professor in the Horticulture Section, School of Integrative Plant Science at Cornell University. He founded and leads the Cyber-Agricultural Intelligence and Robotics (CAIR) lab in Cornell AgriTech that focuses on systems engineering and data analytics for specialty crops. In VG3, Yu and his team will develop novel sensing, robotics, and AI-based analytics technologies to deliver high quality phenotyping data to support genetic research and breeding objectives. Meanwhile, the developed technologies are envisioned to have commercialization potential to enhance growers and stakeholders for production management.
